Actually, you don't owe anyone an explanation if you don't want to do something and say 'no'. But still it can be hard and you say 'yes' anyway. "How to say no" is a learning process in which you can change this bad quality into a positive quality, which you can use to your advantage. Your not the only one coping with this problem. Research (source: Federatie van Coaches) shows that a lot of people from different layers of society are having trouble to use that little two-letter-word.
Advantages of change:
1. Know when to say no and when not to say no. 2. Get rid of the chaos in your head. 3. Separate main- and side issues. 4. Make time and space for yourself. 5. Feel self confident by being clear to yourself and another. 6. No more rush, more tranquility and overview. 7. Be able to concentrate better and focus on what you want to do. 8. Others will treat you with more respect. 9. Your self confidence will increase and you'll be happier and more satisfied with yourself.
